Arsenal romped to a 5-3 victory at London rivals Chelsea in one of the games of the season, in Saturday's early kick-off.
The game started well enough for Chelsea when Frank Lampard converted a right-wing cross by Juan Mata, but Robin van Persie levelled for the Gunners after being set-up by Gervinho.
The home side were ahead just before half-time, Lampard this time the provider for John Terry to poke home from close range.
Arsenal responded twice after the re-start, first Alex Song set-up Andre Santos, who struck a low shot under Petr Cech, before Theo Walcott with Soccer Jerseys received a van Persie pass, made his way through the Chelsea defence and drove the ball home.
Walcott did briefly lose the ball, however any touch from a Chelsea player came after the goalscorer had received a clean pass from van Persie, so he is credited with the assist.
Chelsea Jersey team levelled with 10 minutes remaining as Mata struck a long range shot into the corner after receiving a Raul Meireles pass before van Persie added his second five minutes later following a slip by John Terry.
The points were sealed as the game entered stoppage time, when Mikel Arteta found van Persie, who fired the ball past the despairing Cech, giving the Dutchman his hat-trick.
In the other Saturday lunchtime kick-off, Manchester United got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory at Everton, with Javier Hernandez scoring the only goal of the game.
Henandez struck from close range following good interplay down the left, culminating in a cross from Patrice Evra, which the Mexican striker latched onto.
Manchester City Jersey team needed a few second half goals to beat Wolves at Eastlands.
With the game poised at 0-0 at the break a goalkeeping error from Wayne Hennessey gifted City their opener when his kick hit Sergio Aguero and rebounded kindly for strike-partner Edin Dzeko to put the ball into the unguarded net.
City extended their lead when David Silva's shot was only parried by Hennessey and Aleksandar Kolorov pounced on the rebound.
Wanderers were briefly right back in the game though, as Kevin Doyle was fouled by Vincent Kompany, resulting in a red card for the defender and a penalty, which Stephen Hunt cooly converted.
However it was 10-man City who had the last laugh when Adam Johnson fired in from long range following a pass by team-mate Yaya Toure.
Norwich produced a late comeback to earn a point against Blackburn in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Carrow Road.
Blackburn struck the opener on the stroke of half time as David Hoilett received a pass from Martin Olsson before weaving his way across the box and firing an unstoppable shot into the top right corner.
It only took seven minutes of the second half for the Canaries to draw level, when Leon Barnett guided the ball back to Steve Morison on the edge of the box, for the striker to unleash a dipping volley into the roof of the net.
Just after the hour mark Blackburn took control when first Yakubu slotted home from a Mauro Formica pass, then Christopher Samba converted from close range from a Morten Gamst Pedersen delivery from the left.
Norwich completed what looked an unlikely comeback with two goals in the final eight minutes, first Bradley Johnson scored with a deflected effort after a pass from Wesley Hoolahan, then Grant Holt struck from the spot after a dubious Steven N'Zonzi handball.
Sunderland and Aston Villa shared the spoils at the Stadium of Light, with the home side twice coming from behind.
Villa took the lead when Alan Hutton found Stilian Petrov, and he duly found the top right corner of the net, although Sunderland levelled before half-time when Conor Wickham struck a low shot into the corner following good work from Stephane Sessegnon.
Richard Dunne would have been forgiven for thinking he had earned all three points for Villa when he nodded home Petrov's free kick, although Sessegnon converted a Sebastian Larsson delivery to earn a point for the Black Cats.
Swansea inflicted another defeat on Bolton, with all the game's goals coming in a busy second half.
No sooner had Wanderers been reduced to 10-men that Swansea took the lead, as Joe Allen was given time and space to drill a shot in at the near post following a pass from Mark Gower.
The Swans then doubled their advantage shortly before the hour when Angel Rangel was felled in the box by Darren Pratley and Scott Sincalir slotted home the resulting penalty.
Bolton were given hope when Chris Eagles' cross was diverted into his own net by Danny Graham, but Graham made amends when released by Rangel and restored Swansea's two goal advantage.
Fulham won a hard fought encounter at struggling Wigan by two goals to nil.
The London club opened the scoring not long before half time, when Bobby Zamora found acres of space on the left and his inviting cross was despatched into the net by Clint Dempsey, despite the best efforts of Ali Al Habsi.
It took until four minutes from the end for the match to be put to bed, when Steve Sidwell found Moussa Dembele and the striker struck the ball into the net from the edge of the area.
Liverpool scored two first half goals to take all the points in their tea-time clash against West Brom.
Luis Suarez earned Liverpool a penalty in the first 10 minutes, which was confidently dispatched by Charlie Adam.
Suarez was again the provider shortly before the break when he found strike-partner Andy Carroll, who slid in to double the lead.
Tottenham overcame fellow Londoners QPR in Sunday's only Premier League fixture.
With 20 minutes on the clock Aaron Lennon cut inside and fed Gareth Bale on the left and the Welshman fired the ball into the far corner past Paddy Kenny.
Just after the half hour, it was two when Ledley King's deflected shot found its way to Rafael Van der Vaart and the Dutchman poked home to extend the lead.
King's shot was heading well in front of Van der Vaart before a defensive deflection altered the path of the ball into his feet. This is therefore a significant change of direction as otherwise the goalscorer wouldn't have received the ball.
QPR gave themselves hope by pulling a goal back just after the hour.Brazil Soccer Jersey can be honor by his player like them of City.
