Big advantage for Fantasy League

Fantasy League legend John Arne Risse will be the stand-out arrival after a busy few days within the transfer marketplace, exactly where a host of new players arrived within the Premier League. The former Liverpool man, who was the top scoring full-back in the 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons, has signed a three-year contract with Martin Jol's Fulham. The 30-year-old Norwegian spent seven years at Anfield and scored 20 goals, picked up 30 assists and 70 clean sheets for an impressive 281 Fantasy League points. He is likely to become the first-choice left-back at Craven Cottage and could be an excellent acquisition for Fantasy League managers, if Cheap Soccer Jerseys has retained the attacking intent that produced him so popular at Liverpool. Risse has spent the last 3 seasons at Italian side Roma where he played 99 times and scored seven goals. Wolves have also bolstered their defensive ranks by signing centre-back Roger Johnson from Birmingham. The 28-year-old spent two seasons at St Andrews, scoring 21 Fantasy League points in 76 games, and moves to Molineux for a reported 7m, following Birmingham's relegation towards the Championship. He will start alongside either Christophe Berra or Jody Craddock in the back for Mick McCarthy.
Stoke have taken a gamble by signing former Tottenham, Real Madrid and Leeds centre-back Jonathan Woodgate on a one-year contract. The 31-year-old has only managed two league appearances within the last two seasons as injury threatened to prematurely end his career. Tony Pulis has offered a lifeline towards the defender who has been capped eight times by Brazil Soccer Jersey team. He has played 218 Premier League games, scoring seven times and picking up 6 assists and 69 clean sheets in his career, earning himself 140 Fantasy League points. Newly promoted Queens Park Rangers have ended their struggle to sign new players with the arrival of two in less than 24 hours, and also the prospect of a third on the way. Former Cardiff striker Jay Bothroyd will give Neil Warnock's males an added impetus in attack, hoping to thrive on the service of another new face within the form of midfielder Kieron Dyer. Bothroyd scored 18 objectives and picked up 10 assists, for 74 Fantasy League points, in the Championship last season and is likely to become the focal point of the QPR attack.
Like the aforementioned Woodgate, Dyer's career has been blighted by injury over the last few years, but Warnock pounced when he was released by West Ham in the end of last season. The 32-year-old only managed 14 appearances for the Hammers over the last 4 seasons following a move from Newcastle. He has scored 143 Fantasy League points in 183 games in his career to date. Rangers are also closing in on former Birmingham and Blackpool striker DJ Campbell, according to reports. Another newly promoted club, Norwich, have also added to their attacking options with the signing of Huddersfield winger Anthony Pilkington Manchester City Jersey. The 23-year-old played 92 occasions for the Terriers and scored 19 goals. Lastly, Arsenal have agreed to sign Ivory Coast winger Gervinho, pending the completion of administrative paperwork.
